The World Forum on Peace and Security is an international organization headquartered in Stockholm, Sweden and Washington DC, United States of America with presence in several areas in particular in conflict areas as the Middle East. Founded in 2022, The World Forum on Peace and Security is to provide an international platform that advances peace, security, and sustainable development through innovative collaboration, expert-driven solutions, and inclusive dialogue.
The World Forum on Peace and Security aims to bring together world leaders, policymakers, industry pioneers, civil society organizations, and thousands of people from different sectors and backgrounds. We work in a joint effort to solve some of the most pressing challenges around the world and find implementable strategies for peace and security.

We envision a world where conflicts are settled through negotiations, international cooperation, and most importantly with respecting freedom, justice, and equality.
Our Approach
Conflict Resolution and Mediation:
The World Forum on Peace and Security is to facilitate peacebuilding processes by establishing specialized peace committees composed of Nobel Peace Prize Laureates, former diplomats, scholars, and political leaders. The peace committees negotiate the conflicts and work to prevent future crises.
Expert-Driven Solutions:
Drawing on the experience of political scientists, international law scholars, and diplomats, The World Forum on Peace and Security would offer creative and realistic recommendations to prevent and resolve conflicts. Our focus is on creating durable peace and sustainable peace through various non-coercive and strategic means.
Global Convenings:
The World Forum on Peace and Security targets to bring together world leaders, policymakers, and thinkers at high-level summits, forums, and workshops to foster collective action on the most daunting challenges facing global peace and security. The meetings fosters collaboration and transformational change.
Knowledge Sharing and Education:
Capacity-building programs by The World Forum on Peace and Security give relevant training in international relations, diplomacy, and conflict resolution to the next generation of leaders.
The World Forum on Peace and Security was established by a team of leaders committed to global peace:
- James Bacchus: Professor of World Affairs and Director of the Center for World Economic and Environmental Opportunity at the University of Central Florida. He was a founding judge and was twice the Chairman – the chief judge – of the highest court of world trade, the Appellate Body of the World Trade Organization in Geneva, Switzerland. And former member of USA congress.
- Klaus Buchner: Former Member of European Parliament and University Professor of Physics.
- Mahmoud Refaat: President of the European Institute for International Law and Secretary General of the World Forum on Peace and Security.
